Ocean’s Reach has been part of our family’s Sanibel tradition for over three decades. When our now adult son was very young, he did not really understand the concept of a rental. He started referring to Ocean’s Reach as “La Casa de la Playa” (the beach house) because he assumed it must be owned by his grandmother if we were able to stay there. The name stuck and became part of our family’s shorthand for a trip to Sanibel Island.

Guests will see a “La Casa de la Playa” plaque inside above the lanai. It is a personal nod to the story behind the name, and it captures what Sanibel has always been for us: a place to slow down, spend time outside, and reset.

The condo is professionally managed for reservations and on-island support, so our guests have a clear point of contact throughout their stay. Behind the scenes, we stay involved and care a great deal about keeping the unit clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, so guests can enjoy the beach, the views, and the slower pace that brings people back to Sanibel year after year.
